Tourist 4: And some words about the development of culture and
sport in your town, please.
Guide 1: With pleasure. It is interesting
to know that there is a centralized library system(2 town libraries and 5
branches), the museum of local history, 3 schools of esthetical education, 5
club establishments, theatre named after BorysZahava in Pavlograd.
There is a network of sporting
establishments: 4 child-youth sporting schools, 5 stadiums, 46 sporting halls
and a swimming -pool in our town. 27 kinds of sport are cultivated in
Pavlograd, over 22 thousand of people are engaged in physical culture and
sport.
Station 5.Environment.
Tourist 5: We have realized that Pavlograd is highly developed
and busy town, but what about places for rest in it? Where can we go if we want
to relax?

2: There are a lot
of beautiful places for rest here.So almost in every village you can find a
comfortable corner in a forest on the riverside. The area of Pavlograd green
planting covers 319 hectares. It is possible to rest in one of 5 parks in
Pavlograd that cover 56 hectares of overall green planting area. Many of local
tourists drive out to forests, not far from the town to rest there.
Station 6.Traditions.
Tourist 6: We know that Ukrainian people keep their traditions
with great honour. Is your town rich in historical traditions? What famous
buildings and monuments are there in Pavlograd?
Guide 3: The unique look of the town is created by its
architectural monuments. A few buildings of 19-beginning of 20 ages were saved
in Pavlograd. These buildings are appartments of former City Justice, women
high school, Nobiliary Sittings, shop "Arcade", hotel "Russia",
high school church, theater and others.
The ortodox temple of Not of human making Spas and
Church of Uspinnya, built in 1896-1899 years, are the real decorations of the
town.
Among the sights of the town we would like to mention
Avenue of Glory in Karl Marks street, memorial complexes on the Brotherly
cemetery in microregion of September, 18; monuments to Lenin on the Cathedral
square, to the warriors-afghan on Minebuildersboulvard, to Kotin J. in
Dniprovska street, to the prisoners of war in the microregion of September, 18;
to the lost Jewries of Pavlograd in the microregionLitmash, to liquidators of
Chornobyl disaster in Karl Marks street.
